The Story
This antique Venetian chevron cane segment features the classic 5–6 layer rosetta pattern—white, red, and navy nested inside a deep cobalt body. Usable length is 1". Produced in Murano between the late 1800s and early 1900s, this section was hand-drawn from a molten layered billet and later broken down into usable lengths. The ends are naturally uneven and fractured, consistent with the way century-old cane sections age and separate over time. Ideal for beadmaking, carving, lapidary-style slicing, or display. Lengths can vary from 1-2". Diameter is 20-24mm.
