The Story
SV519-1: This chevron cane piece displays the classic Venetian rosetta pattern in 4-5 distinct layers, slightly earlier and rarer than the later 6-layer styles. Crafted in Murano between the late 1800s and early 1900s, the cane was hand-constructed from colored glass layers before being drawn into rods and later broken down into shorter sections. The ends are irregular and chipped, consistent with antique cane breakage after long-term storage. Perfect for collectors, small carved pieces, jewelry components, or historical study. 15-20mm in diameter. 2 Inch usable length average.
